We are now accepting applications for the Summer Term (starting July 20th).
How long is the program?
The program is 10 weeks long.
What days do we meet? And at what time?
Classes are held on a flexible schedule. This schedule allows our students to continue working their current jobs while they complete the program. Additionally, students should plan to attend a 4-hour orientation session prior to the first day of class.
How many students are in each class?
There are a maximum of 10 students in each class. This allows for plenty of individualized attention and ensures that everyone in the class gets the most out of the program.
What is the student/teacher ratio?
At capacity, we have one teacher to every ten students.
Is the curriculum online or in-person?
The curriculum is blended. About 25 hours of instruction will be available online, and 80 hours will be conducted in person.
How much does the program cost?
Tuition is priced at $2,500. This tuition covers the 10-week program and includes dental supplies, textbook, and scrubs and shirt.
What payment plans do you have?
We offer various payment plans to meet your needs:
Pay in Full: Pay the full amount prior to starting classes. This option includes all necessary supplies and incurs no interest.
Payment Plan: Make a down payment of $500, followed by weekly payments. Financing through Affirm offers APRs ranging from 0%-35.7%, depending on credit approval. Down payment and payment terms may vary.
What are the requirements for admission into the program?
Students should generally be older than 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have access to a computer or smartphone. A criminal conviction will need to be explained to the Dental Assisting National Board , and all necessary documents submitted for evaluation.
What certifications will I receive after completing the program?
Upon completion, students will receive a certificate that allows them to apply to the Dental Assisting National Board to become a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).

Can I transfer some of my credits from another program over to this one?
Contact hours earned at NextGen Dental Academy may not transfer to another educational institution. Contact hours earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by NextGen Dental Academy. You should obtain confirmation that NextGen Dental Academy will accept any contact hours you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer contact hours earned at NextGen Dental Academy to determine if such institutions will accept contact hours earned at NextGen Dental Academy prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfercontact hours from NextGen Dental Academy to another educational institution may be very limited. Your contact hours may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at NextGen Dental Academy if you enroll in another educational institution. You should never assume that contact hours will transfer to or from any educational institution. It is highly recommended and you are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of credit policy of NextGen Dental Academy and of any other educational institutions you may in the future want to transfer the contact hours earned at NextGen Dental Academy before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
